Workplace Policy

1. Purpose

This policy establishes the principles, standards, and expectations governing behavior, performance, and professional conduct within CONSYSTRA. It aims to create a safe, inclusive, efficient, and innovative work environment aligned with our philosophy.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all CONSYSTRA employees, consultants, interns, and contractors, regardless of location or contract duration.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or bullying in any form will not be tolerated.
  • Employees must avoid conflicts of interest and disclose any potential issues to HR or management.
  • Confidentiality must be maintained regarding company information, client data, and intellectual property.

5. Working Hours and Attendance

  • Standard working hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Syria Time), Sunday to Thursday.
  • Flexible arrangements or remote work require approval from a direct supervisor.
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential to maintaining team coordination.

6. Remote Work & Digital Conduct

  • Employees must ensure secure and professional environments when working remotely.
  • Company data may not be stored on personal devices unless authorized.
  • Use of company digital platforms (emails, cloud, systems) must comply with IT and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Video meetings should maintain professional etiquette and privacy.

7. Anti-Harassment & Equal Opportunity

  • CONSYSTRA promotes a zero-tolerance approach toward harassment, exploitation, and discrimination.
  • All hiring, promotion, and compensation decisions are based on merit and performance.
  • Reports of misconduct can be made confidentially to HR without fear of retaliation.

8. Health, Safety, and Security

  • Employees must follow all health and safety guidelines in offices and fieldwork locations.
  • In case of any workplace injury, immediate reporting to the supervisor is mandatory.
  • Digital security is considered part of workplace safety; all personnel must adhere to cybersecurity protocols.

9. Leave and Absence Management

  • Employees are entitled to annual, sick, and emergency leave in accordance with company and local labor laws.
  • Unplanned absences must be reported as early as possible.
  • Extended leave requests must be approved in advance by management.

10. Performance and Development

  • CONSYSTRA encourages continuous learning through professional development plans, mentorship, and periodic evaluations.
  • Performance reviews are conducted biannually to align individual goals with organizational strategy.
  • Constructive feedback and coaching are integral parts of our culture.

11. Use of Company Assets

  • Company equipment (laptops, phones, software licenses) must be used responsibly.
  • Unauthorized duplication, sharing, or personal use of company resources is prohibited.
  • Damage or loss must be reported immediately.

12. Confidentiality and Data Protection

  • Employees must comply with CONSYSTRA’s Data Protection and Information Security Policy.
  • Sensitive data must be handled, stored, and transmitted according to established encryption and privacy standards.

13. Disciplinary Measures

Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including verbal warnings, written warnings, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity.

14. Reporting Mechanisms

  • Employees may raise workplace concerns confidentially via the Internal Feedback & Reporting System.
  • Reports are reviewed by the HR and Ethics Committee, ensuring fair and transparent handling.

15. Policy Review

This policy is reviewed annually or as needed to ensure alignment with legal requirements, organizational growth, and evolving workplace standards.

16. Acknowledgment

All employees must sign an acknowledgment confirming they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the CONSYSTRA Workplace Policy.
